Erik Morales should go for Joel Casamayor

He doesnt need to. He can beat David Diaz, some say he did beat Diaz first time round. Mind you, considering morales name he could probably easily get a fight with Casa and that would be an easy way to the Ring champ. Not 100% sure he could beat Casa though.

 

Is this the same Casa that will wipe the floor with PAC a month ago?

Morales came in pudgy for that fight. Tuneup, underestimated the guy.

 

Santa Cruz is a better boxer than Diaz despite losing to Diaz. HE was outboxing the average Diaz for the majority of the fight before being ko'd

Casa won the Santa Cruz fight despite looking poor. He won the early rounds and rarely got hit. Cruz threw lots but rarely landed

 

No Morales was past it.

This would still be a relevant fight in terms of the names of the fighters names and achievements.


And I would want to watch it.


But I figure this will be a fight that will be determined not who is the better fighter, but who has deteriorated more. Sad.


Casa by stinking UD.

 

Duran came in overweight for the 2nd SRL fight. Was he past it? All Morales showed in that fight was that he couldnt be bothered.

 

Morales vs a slick boxer. Ill take the slick boxer everytime. There is a reason why Morales didnt fight any slick fighters his whole career except for Raheem. He was schooled. Casamayor would do the same.

 

Morales is done. He needs to just enjoy retirement. I love him, but I don't wanna see him lose again.
