Prime-4-Prime Who brings more to the table. Don't want to hear any "he was a machine at the weight" or "he's a monster"; proper boxing logic only. I haven't seen much of Gomez. Break it down for me.
Gomez was a slicker boxer for sure, better footwork, better balance, but also more placing, which could lead to him getting too engrained in his offense to think about his defense. This was normally the case when he had an opponent hurt though, as he would go on a offensive rampage during these times, looking to time his opponents as they covered and run. Excellent finisher, even if capable of being hit in return these times. When he did remember defense, he was actually quite skilled at slipping and leaning off punches, even in the midst of one of his combos. Morales has a good chance to win this fight though, because his length and reach outdo Gomez's, even if Gomez is probably more powerful. I think Morales is more suited to brawling, and the fight could easily take that direction(I'd be quite surprised if it didn't). They would both be landing, but I think it may go to a Decision nonetheless, given how tough both fighters were.
