Better than expected effort from limond who was outboxing morales for the first 3 rounds. Limonds ring rust was showing as he was gradually getting worn down. Morales should really think about retiring after this as he was slow and plodding.

    Official verdict: Morales tko6

Scoremaestro: 48-47 Limond at point of the tko. Morales tko6

I laughed every time the commentators said 'Lime-ond'.:lol::lol:
and Willie didn't win a on olympic silver medal, did he?

Good effort from Limond, the altitude ****ed him.
Morales didn't look good at all, as expected. Carrying a lot of fat around his waist.

He definitely needs to get in better shape for his next fights but I wouldnt say he looked bad, I think he choose to box cautiously & conserve energy to see what Limond had.

3 more fights & he`ll be ready to hand both Mayweather & Pacquiao their drama queen ***** asses & send those pieces of **** packing for good.

maybe 'bad' was a bit harsh considering Limond is a very accomplished fighter.
I'm a massive fan of Morales too, but he looks an old 34 in the ring now.

His hands seem good but he`s lost a lot of the bounce in his feet that he used to have & those love handles need to go, Im sure he must be able to get rid of those things, they make him look about 40.

i thought Limond had won the first 4, though the heat and altitude definitely got the better of him eventually, and he lost his speed and energy and rounds 5 and 6 he looked knackered...and Morales capitalized on his loss of speed and bounce, hitting him with 3 really nice liver punches, putting him down 3 times in a row and ending it.
