Tough one to call. At 130 Id probably favor Hernandez.

Hernandez was a good technician, i don't think that style does particularly well against Morales though, because Erik just mounts attacks on those type of fighters and his accuracy is so good that he has success. The fact that this is Hernandez' weight is his biggest advantage, but the Morales that beat Jesus Chavez was still a great fighter, i think he has a great chance. Overall at the wright, i'd favour Hernandez but if we're going to use the version that clearly wasn't past prime then i think Morales could win.

I favour Morales but not by much. Hernandez was a very good counter puncher, very good technician and a good in fighter too. Morales is there to be hit so this plays into Hernandez's hands. Morales hast he advantage with his athleticism/speed and perhaps workrate. He'd also probably be the 3rd best opponent Morales ever faced. I see it as a close fight and a bit of a war that Morales edges out

Id say a prime Chicanito has the advantage in speed over Morales at JL.

Morales was at his best at 122 and very good at 126. I'm not sure he'd beat a prime Chicanito at 130.

I just keep seeing Morales finding a way to land that one-two of his enough to win a close decision.

Sad to say that the only two fights I seen of Hernandez were his two losses. Someone suggest two fights for me to check out of his.

Boxed brilliantly against Azumah Nelson, also check out his fight against a still good Jorge Paez. Other fights where he was impressive both fights with Raul Perez, Famoso Hernandez(saw that live),Benny Lopez,Daniel Londas and most of his other title defenses were clear wins.

Morales too small, to turn it into a brawl. Hernandez uses his skill, movement & jab to carve out a cautious decision win.

(I agree if Chicanio used his smart boxing skills he would outbox Morales, however Chicanito was known to brawl when he didnt have to. See his fights with short guys like Paez,Warren, if he gets dragged into a slugging/Boxing match Morales could pull this out. Hernandez would have to fight a disciplined fight like the one he did against Azumah Nelson.

Paez & Warren are nowhere near the brawler Morales is. Chicanito would stay moving around the ring & keep the infighting to the bare minimum.
