Jeff quite handily on points. Even if Morales wanted to buck tradition and try to stay out of the trenches, I can't see him doing it - his lateral movement and ring generalship weren't good enough IMO - and once they DO end up warring it out up close I can see only one winner, despite the fortitude of Morales. If Nelson couldn't handle Fenech's strength and skilled swarming ability, I can't see Erik doing it either. Especially not at 122, a weight at which Fenech (at his best) was nothing short of monstrous.

Fenech via 12 round trouncing. 9-3 at best for Erik.

Don't be too insightful. People will think you're getting ideas above your station.

I would pick Morales to sharp-shoot the **** out of Fenech in this one. For all his aggression and work-rate, Fenech didn't carry a big punch or much originality in his approach. Morales is just too good a boxer with too many angles and enough power.

Morales could hardly keep a one handed Jesus Chavez off him. Fenech will give him the works.

Fenech almost outworked a malarial Nelson and that is his greatest claim to fame outside of the beatdowns he has given random bar-patrons and bouncers.
