Shame these guys didn't fight. They could have fought in the early 2000s. But anyway, who wins this matchup? I'd give the edge to Morales, but i think itd be a pretty close fight, i just think morales is a level above marquez but barely
I've always thought the styles favored Marquez, even though Morales is a bit better as a fighter. I can see JMM circling and ripping off scoring combinations like Barrera did in the 3rd fight to win a decision. I'd probably pick it, if forced, but its a good fight.
I think for skill and all round technical ability, Marquez is better than Barrera and Morales. They are all very close though, very. I'd pick Marquez to beat Morales in a great fight. I think he might get knocked down along the way.
Marquez would win a close but clear decision in an amazing technical war where JMM would just box that bit smarter. I think JMM was probably past his physical best by the time he got to Pacquaio. All the 3 MExicans were around the same age and people try to make out JMM stayed in his prime while Morales/MAB faded but JMM faded too and yes the other 2 did have more wars but being out of the spotlight doesn't really help a fighters momentum either
