Erik won the first fight in my opinion but let's not forget that Pac was cut badly in the mid round. Erik did incredibly well in that fight though, I was more than impressed (I couldn't expected less from one of the very best).

Erik was probably in his best fight ever though, I don't think he was that much past it. The last round was something you won't see in a while.

Too damn bad he never fought Juan Manuel Marquez

the best version of pac is at 126/130 while a prime morales was at 122/126. the three fights all happened at 130 where pac is peaking. why would morales at 122 beat pac at 130 any day of the week? i understand that morales is loved so much here in esb but that statement of yours is selling pac short.

Morales 1-0 No need for a rematch. Morales was a beast at 122

Ha ha you poor Pac fans can't you feel that you are surrounded??

All you have is silly reality and real life and the ring performances of Pacquiao!!

Its nothing! Nothing I tell you compared to rationalized hypotheticals!!!

what can we do? "IF" is a very powerful word. it can do anything. :D

well, i am a morales fan as well. these two warriors are evenly matched. imo, at 122 morales takes it 6 of 10, 126 morales 5 of 10 and at 130 morales 4 out of 10.

I really really wanted to see Morales fight Hamed back in the day. This was before Hamed-Barrera and while Hamed was bad ass, I was always thinking Morales would have beat this guy. Its too bad it never happened.

As far as earlier Morales vs Pac, Morales has everything stacked in his favor here. His chin was ****ing solid, his power was better at 122 and 126. He was getting KOs there at those weights meanwhile at 130 his power seemed to decline a lot. Also consider Pac has improved alot on his boxing and defense. A younger pac at the lighter weights would get schooled bad by morales.

If you took the skills of pac of today and the younger morales and matched them up say at the same weight then that would be a good fight. I still say morales but Im a bit biased

Morales any day. And Morales did have alot of wars. Not just MAB. If you were a true fan you would know. That is why he became such a popular fighter because everytime he fought he had entertaining battles.

Other than the Barrera fights, he hadn't had too many gruelling battles, he never even had a split decision, all UD's, and had no stoppage losses to bounce back from.

    What were his "wars" then??

Pac was less polished at 122 but much faster than he was at 130.

He also had a war with Espadas.
What you are not understanding is Morales had boxing skills, he coud have easily boxed his way to wins by using his reach. Instead he chose to give us the fans, a war, now bow down. Manny is good but will never get the respect and love Morales will. A fighter like Morales only comes once a lifetime. We all know what happened in the first fight. That would happen every time buddy, speaking primes of course.

I think a peak Morales would beat a peak Pac every time. I also believe that Barrera at his peak would beat pac as well and we already saw Marquez beat him twice on my cards.:smooch
