What if instead of Barerra, Prince Naseem fought Eric Morales.

How does this one play out?

People make the mistake of thinking Morales would be able to do the same as Barrera. Barrera fought very smart staying away from Hameds bombs, Morales didnt fight the same way he'd brawl and wasnt as fast. He'd pay for brawing with Hamed and may get knocked out despite his great chin, Hamed was another level of power.

Morales was a good boxer with a good straight righthand. He would have easily beaten Hamed.

I hate all this bull****, Hamed gets his head handed to him against Barrera but he is somehow gonna beat Morales who proved himself time and time again, thats bull****.

I don't believe that was the best of Hamed that Barrera beat but at the end of the day thats neither here nor there the fact of the matter is they fought and Nas was humilated. I think Morales would of beat the **** out of him. Fact is Morales proved his greatness Nas did not.

I believe Erik's chin would hold up against Hameds bombs for the first few rounds, then he would just break Hamed down with the straight right hand and maybe stop him late on (10th-) or just win a clear decision.
    Morales all the way

Morales got his ass handed to him by Barrera too the year before. Tales make fights so...

Whos back kept getting beaten to the ropes - Morales (MAB was never on the ropes)

Who landed he big most significant punches - MAB (Morales were less effective and not as damaging)

it does'nt matter theres was nothing in that fight, where as Naz V Barrera was a complete domination.

MAB battered Morales but yes closer. Styles make fights, MAB was content to box and stay away from Hameds big shots, Morales always brawls, hes not getting away with that against the biggest puncher in FW history

Hamed wasnt at his best against MAB either

I said I did'nt believe Hamed was at his best against Barrera if you read my post, but at the end of the day they did fight and he got the **** beat out of him, you have to go with Morales do the same. He proved he was the better fighter multiple times

I'll admit it been a while since i've seen the fight but i'd have to disagree with that, don't get me wrong barrera won well but it was not complete domination at all, that would indicate barrera winning almost every round easily, that was just not the case from my recollection

Morales takes Hamed's best punches and KO's him with a straight right.

I get what your saying, I think I gave Naz 3 rounds in that fight but that was more because of Barrera taking a breather, you should watch it again its very onesided and Barrera really makes Hamed look like a amature.

I probably will, i think i had it about 9 rounds to 3 as well, i thought barrera did beat him well and took advantage of hamed technical deficiencies. I'm nitpicking a bit i just don't view the fight as complete domination, outclassed yes, just not to the level that you described it
