This was the first fight in which Hamed was fighting a guy who he wasnt physically much stronger than when he faced Barrera. All along Hamed was showing how much of a technical mess he was, but his punching power was always bailing him out. Morales was equally as strong and technically sound as Barrera, and he would have done a number on Hamed, maybe sooner, because of his height and righthand. Junior Jones would have probably knocked the **** out of Hamed too, even though his chin was pretty shitty.

yeah you should watch it again it really is a bad schooling especially in the last 2 rounds where Barrera starts to go forward and really bully Hamed, it really looks like a pro against an amature or man against boy,

let me know if you agree with me after you watched it.:good

I agree. Hamed did nothing in that fight except look for the safest way out of it without getting his head handed to him.

yep he did seem to not want it, as soon as he realised that Barrera was'nt gonna just fall as soon as he landed a big shot ,and when he started getting picked of coming in he just did'nt seem willing to tough it out and really go for it, he was like you say trying to find the safest way of just getting through it instead of taking a chance,

I think Hamed wins a close and perhaps controversial hometown decision. Morales rocks him once or twice and lands the heavier shots, but it would be closer than MAB.

Hamed by brutal KO, I love Morales, but no way in hell does he stick to a gameplan like Barrera did, similarly to the Pacquiao fight, he'l start brawling once he feels the fights in the bag, and get smashed to bits by the biggest punching featherweight ever, yes i said it, bigger than Nelson, Sadler, Little red or whoever.
Nobody had more fighters carried out in a stretcher than the little prince.

And as far as Prince finding the easiest way out of the Barrera fight, he was leaping in with haymakers all through the last round, hoping for the one big **** to win him the fight, and getting countered by 3-4 shot combiantions, when he could have stayed on the backfoot and countered like he usually did, so as far as him looking for a way out, come on, if he really wanted to look for a way out, he could have stayed down and feigned an eye injury when Barrera rammed his head into the turnbuckle, like Lorenzo did against Humberto Soto.

As soon as I read the two names on the poll, I immediately thought "Morales would win that one." I could see the Prince making it 12 rounds, but losing a wide decision. It isn't out of the question that Morales could stop Hamed, but a 12 round decision seems more likely to me.

If Jones hit Hamed with some of those right hands that Kelly landed... :scaredas:

Not making a guess on who would win but Jones if nothing else had a ATG right. ****ing mini-Hearns in there.

hamed was an anoying little ***** but he was genuinly that great for a time. he was great enough to knock out anything he could hit and erik could be hit. Obviously with hindsight morales proved more and has the beter legacy and I would rate him above the prince but head to head im reminded of the phenomenon hamed was before he went up himself and believed his own bul****. Nobody hit harder than the prince he was a one off.
