Totally agree with you on that one, Barerra was very clever and changed his strategy, so even though Barerra beat Naz, he never underestimated his power and kept away
Morales would have come to brawl and that would play right into Nazs hands because he certainly didnt come prepared for a chess match either

I always felt Naz respected Morales more than Barerra, forgive me if im wrong. Would Naz have prepared more for Morales?? because his preparation for Barerra was utter shite.

Naz would Ko Morales late right into the fight

Morales would have won, he beat Pacquiao who is a better southpaw than Hamed and hits just as hard.

I think Erik Morales would have came away with a close but clear points victory over Prince Naseem.

El Terrible was a terrific boxer when he was in the mood, and he surely showed the physical capabilities against the likes of Ayala and Barrera in the second fight to suggest he'd have the best of Naseem in an outside altercation. That being said, Morales' isn't particularly elusive at the best of times, and would take a few hard ones which could either lose him rounds, or make his eyes swell as they so often did. This could make it tougher down the stretch, but I believe Hamed's power to be overstated. He didn't knockout one great prime fighter in his entire professional career, he only fought one, and that man thoroughly spanked him. Styles make fights so it's fairly close, but Morales' class will prevail.

Morales was taller and threw a straighter longer righthand, which would have been perfect for the wide open Hamed.

I know it all about opinions but reading some of these posts, i think i must have been watching a different Hamed. Some guys are giving him far too much kudos than what he deserves. Vastly overrated fighter who met only one fighter comparable to morales and got his ass handed to him. No calls for re-match, no jumping back on the horse right away against a top5 fighter. Nothing. And some guys think he'd beat Morales?????

Yep. Knocking bums and washed up ex champions out can fool a lot of people but the technical flaws were right there slapping everyone in the face along the way.

Hamed had all the skills you could wish for, but he had nothing like the discipline and heart that the top Mexican FWs had. Barrera exposed Hamed's deficiencies, and it certainly seems that Morales would have done so as well. Nas has a puncher's chance, and could possibly have scored a KO; but over twelve rounds Erik would break him down and probably blast him out.
