Limond won the first three rounds and then wilted in the high altitude - it makes such a huge difference.

Well at the end of the day the altitude did it for him no disgrace though took a few round of Morales not many fighters can claim that and i hope he got a decent payday. this may open up a few opportunities for him in the states

I thought Willie looked pretty good for the first 4 rounds. Morales got to him as his paced dropped though. If Willie was able to maintain his work he could have been in with a genuine chance. Shame, cos Willie was putting together some good stuff. He even hurt Morales and started to trade with him before he got stopped. Warrior!

There was no disgrace in Willies performance IMO. If that fight had been in britain things could have been so much different. He looked as if he was flying the fist few rounds very quick and moving around very comfortably.

Willie did look the better out the 2 but that altitude thing did start showing in the 4th and 5th rounds, maybe if he had been out in Mexico several weeks before the fight training he would have given himself a better chance of acclimatizing to the conditions.

Hopefuly for him, his management team can now pull together a few more fights going on those first few rounds as he did look like he could take on the world. And hoping Willie looks on that fight positvely gets a crack at something else before he hangs up his gloves.

Best of luck for your future Wullie :good

Gotta love Erik he's the ****in man what an honour that must have been for willie to share the ring with him, he put in a spirited effort.

Was laughing out loud at the commentators pronunciation of 'Limond' haha.

This is the first time I've seen erik since his comeback. Can't believe how much baggage he's actually carrying around his waist now, I know he's been out for a while but he's still just 34.
