Pretty much sums up Morales right there, hadnt tested himself against a certain kind of opponent, so wanted to.

i also disagree with philla because i think at the end of the day morales was simply just the better man. but to say "spanked thoroughly"? if i remember it right, it was a competitive fight and even though pac lost, i was still impressed with what he have shown that night.

I can respect your opinion but gotta disagree because at the end of the day they fought three times and Pac won 2, Morales won 1.

Now that doesn't mean that Pac is automatically the better man and there can be plenty of reasons for either fighter not being at his best, but I also believe that when you compare their careers Pac has shown that prime for prime he is a better fighter than Morales.

Not only did Pac win his head-to-head trilogy with Morales but he also has had a more impressive career overall. I don't see the argument that Morales was better than Pac. It's all "Morales was past prime" which in my eyes is just as valid as saying "Pac was moving up in weight". At the end of the day both are excuses which doesn't mean its not true.

Regardless of styles, Morales at his best was in a different league from the likes of Raheem, if the boxing wasn`t working, Erik would just pull him into a blood & guts war (something Erik wasn`t prepared for physically or mentally in this bout) & Raheem cannot fight in that sort of fight, especially vs an ATG with the will & drive of a peak Morales.
