Morales was a year or two from his prime in that first fight.

But a green Pac was 5 years from HIS prime. :deal

He was past his best at 130, didnt have the same power there as he did at 122-126. At 122 he was knocking everyone out. Not a huge puncher but he had good power. At 130 he was getting UDs against types he would have stopped before

Yesterday he was flabby and slow but his skills are still there and his defense is really underrated, he didnt take many flush shots. I think its always a bit underrated because people remember his wars but forget he was trading with them because he wanted to not because he had to

Look at how he moves in his PRIME very closely, leg speed, hand speed, combinations, unorthodox punching angles, POWER at 122-126lbs, and UNBREAKABLE chin!!!! Pacquiao never in a million years would have EVER beat Morales at 122 or 126. EVER

Some of you need to **** off trying to give Pacquiao full credit for beating Morales II and III. The wins were good because Morales is ****ing incredible and Pacquiao himself is a legendary fighter but don't try and re write history all over again by saying Morales was in his prime or anything CLOSE to his prime when he fought Pacquiao I II and III. Go watch a Morales career set of fights before you come on here spreading lies and bull**** inaccuracies.

Morales not only was having weight issues but he was also coming off a discouraging lopsided loss to Barrera in a fight where he seemed like he wasn't there mentally/physically and without passion. He proved the doubters wrong by making his LAST STAND against Manny Pacquiao.

Morales beating Pacquiao past his prime in their first fight is the greatest accomplishment of any fighter of our era. You can't name a SINGLE more impressive win than a past his prime Morales beating Pacquiao in the first fight. I'm not discrediting Pacquiao AT ALL. Pacquiao gets full credit for destroying MAB and taking JMM through hell and back.

But with a PAST it Morales he couldn't **** with. The II and III fights are not that significant but they are decent/good wins for Pacquiao who was primed out at the time against a guy who was starched and past his prime in Morales.

Don't try and make **** up and say Morales was close to his prime. REALIZE that many dimensions of Morales prime game were GONE by the time he was fighting Pacquiao. 1 - he was not in his prime weight at 130lbs 2- he wasn't as fast 3 - he was drained 4 - he didn't have the same punch resistance in that drained state and 4 - Morales punching power was fantastic at 122/126 but nothing special at 130.

I know not everyone here feels that Morales was still perfectly fine by the time he fought Pacquiao. But some of you want to give pacquiao 100% credit for fighting an 100% Morales - and thats bull****. :deal

The funny **** is that I'm one of Pacquiao's biggest nut huggers but with this topic I gotta rant. Morales is Godly and thats that. I was on this board a long time ago ranting to people how Morales has a certain set of intangibles that makes him HELLISH in head to head match ups.
