Erik declared that he has lost 20 kilos which is roughly 44 pounds. Considering he has been reported to weigh as much as 195 he would currently weigh about 151 with about 14 days til he fights at 142.

Erik elaborated that his conditioning program began weeks before camp and that he had lost plenty of weight before going to camp.

Good for him. Now I hope he continues to stay in shape and never steps into a ring again.

Good to hear that he's getting back in shape... I just wish he would stay out of the ring.

Morales is relatively well off. I think his comeback is for reasons other than money. I really think he just wants that 4th weight class.

I think thats very bad when they lose so much weight in my opinion for example if you stay in shape and then you lose 20, thats ok but 40 its a lot, remember chris byrd and RJJ, they were never the same. I think you can lose the 40 pounds but you have to give your body plenty of time to get used to but if you fight, you are not going to be the same. Hatton too, he will never be the same

I agree however he claims that he made sure his cardio was in place before sparring. His team claims he has looked good in the gym. I was not much of a fan of him before he retired even though he had beaten Pac. I kind of disliked him, however, after watching more of his fights I began to see how great he really was. A fourth title is what he wants hopefully he gets it.

I respected Morales but I was never a fan, the only fight I always wanted to see is JMM vs Morales, Hatton vs Morales or JMM vs Hatton may be good fights too
