Made 13 Defenses of the WBC Super- Bantamweight Title Before his First Loss to MAB. Has wins over 2 All Time Greats in Manny Pacquiao and MAB. Has Numerous Very Good Wins against Zaragoza , Junior Jones , McCullough , Juarez , Espadas Jr , Chi , Ayala , Jesus Chavez , Hernandez and Kevin Kelly. How do you rate his Career? How high as a ATG Do you Rate him. Is he in your Top 50?
He was an excellent fighter at his best and hugely entertaining, but i don't consider him an all-time great, he just never showed me that kind of ability. A lot of the better wins in that list, while solid enough, were against fighters clearly on the downside of their career. The kind of wins against aging fighters and 2nd tier foes that would be laughed at, or frequently dismissed were they notched up by a more divisive fighter like Jones Jr or lennox lewis for instance.I'm just playing devils advocate there though, it's worthy stuff overall, despite his often making heavy work of them. The MAB series and first Pac fight define him for me.A great, extremely tough warrior and very good, but not great textbook boxer-puncher.
Along with MAB would be in the top 100 ATG's, the better Pacman goes the higher he will be rated in the future I think.
could'nt say becuase I don't have a list made, but with there Hd 2 Hd capabilitys, I could see them going as high as 60 - 50
