Every time I see the old fighters ripped before fight they have their asses beaten.
Erik is in good shape, he will do a great come back.

lol well that's the thing, he by no means is fat in that pic, but it's not the figure you're use to seeing at a weighing (unless you're a heavy weight). He just doesn't have the body of a fighter. He just looks like a regular dude with slight love handles working at a petrol station on a hot day.

Yeah but its sad seeing him like that. And that extra fat is proof that he has no business fighting at all and especially at 147. And that is at the weigh in so who knows if he was cutting and weighs even more. As they said his face is gaunt but he still has that belly. Not good at all.

I cant believe Erik Morales is fighting!!!! im so happy!!! he's my favorite fighter and DONT FORGET...NOBODY thought he was gonna hang with diaz let alone get screwed out of what shouldve been a decision for erik but that happened...and now it seems people are doubting him again..he's shown us even as the underdog the guy can put on a performance
[he was the underdog in his 1st with with pacroid too dont forget] and it looks like he may have to do it again..we'll see, i wish this brave warrior the best and lets hope he kicks alfaro's ass...Go Morales!!!!

Yeah I'm just saying he may be in better shape than the average person. As a fighter he should be more fit I agree but lets hope EM can pull of the victory then leave the sport for good.

I hate seeing Morales this way to and it's hard having faith in him after all of the sad fights happening of a great past his best.

He went from about 190 to 142 in 6 months. So its kind of ridiculous to think he would look cut considering all the weight he lost! However he used a nutritionist and a trainer this time. I just hope he does not look bad in this fight.

He doesn't look as bad as people are making out. If he is planning on 135 or more realistically 140lbs, he may just not rehydrate. If that's the case, he will look fine in the ring. He has some definition, similar to Juan Diaz, so it may not be too bad a sign that he's not extremely ripped.

I am the Defender of Khan! But If that fight was made then I would lose a lot of respect for him, If he took it. Obviously it would be a nice name to have on your resume but at the same time, nobody is going to look at it like a hard fought battle that shows Khans talent.

As for the pictures, He don't look too good at all, these little guys are supposed to be RIPPED! Well most of them anyway, but just have to see how he preforms.

Its a shame to see these old greats coming back for "Another try".

Morales is an Ectomorph. Taller frame does not mean larger bones. Paul Williams is another example. 147 and being ripped for a guy Pac's size is nothing unbelievable. You keep getting schooled, when will you quit man?

Erik is one of my favourites but this? Retire.

i dunno maybe being a little soft will be better for him for now

cutting that much weight isn good and getting a win under his belt then making the push probly at 140 will be better for him than cutting al the weight right now

I'd easily bet Morales wins a spurrious decision that actually looks worse than had he been given a loss on his record.
