ERIK was better than MAB

I am thinking that MAB took this fight to show that he is better than Morales. Remember that Junior Jones defeated MAB twice but Jones was annihilated by EM. By surviving against pacman, his legacy will probably be better than Morales. I might be wrong though.

In this fight, MAB was never really intending to fight but to survive. He only throws punch when he is punched. That is why this fight sucks in terms of excitement. Compared to the JMM-MAB fight where here were significant exchanges. MAB has lesser repect for JMM's power that is why there were lot of exchanges.

When MAB went into a defensive clamshell, there is nothing that MP can do to make the fight exciting. Despite being old, accrding to MP, MAB has been the hardest puncher he met. So he has to respect that by trying not get tagged by a counterpunch.What people forget is that MAB has a very respectable power as evidenced when he KDed JMM. This is a fight that MP won using boxing ability.

If you are using this performance to gauge how JMM would do, that would be entirely wrong. JMM and MAB are entirely two different beast. JMM is featherfisted relative to JMM and MP. When MP does not respect your power, it would be a slugfest.
