Erislandy Lara and Andrade agree to fight each other

Again Mayweather already is WBA Unified Super Champ with the WBA/WBC Titles, Lara's Title just means he's #1 contender to Mayweather's belt Andrede is a real Champ though with the WBO Belt. Then Lara is coming off a loss which further kills his validity as a real Titlist.

 

Lara's also got an unfortunate tendency to fight at whatever level his opponent does. Every now and again he'll outclass a guy like he's supposed to, but (and I hate to say it), it seems to me like he's got a little bit of a sparring partner mentality. He'll match what the other guy does and (usually) do a little more. He doesn't have a terrible case since he falls on the winning side of things, but just enough to underwhelm in what should be showcase opportunities and to leave the door open for scoring not to go his way.

 

I actually think Andrade can beat him...

Would love for this fight to go down. Two of the top 5 in the division.

 

Andrade should have fought Charlo instead of Lara.

It'd be nice to see some of that courage in the ring. Hopefully he learned his lesson and decides not to stink up the house next time.
