I guess that was another robbery, and if you noticed at the end he actually said that he thought he won. Paul Williams fought okay, but he lost. For big fights, they need better judges. I had Erislandy Lara winning 10 rounds and Paul Williams only two. Bottom line is that Erislandy Lara proofed his greatness last night and he IS Better then Paul Williams. --
The sad thing is Williams will probably get another big fight, and Lara will be avoided because he's dangerous, and though he fought his heart out, he will probably be reduced back to FNF's or the like for the time being. Boxing politics. I can't see any of the top fighters wanting to risk getting into the ring with Lara, knowing he's dangerous, and unfortunately for him he's now coming off a loss and a draw.
**** the rematch, Lara should get K9 for the title, after all he stopped Brewer, the last guy to beat Bundrage.
he deserves not to hve to rematch someone he already beat! those scummy judges should be banned, outcasted by all boxers as not wanted/not accepted for judging their fights. The records, the press, the hbos ect should just accept fact that lara won, despite what lies the judges spread by robbing him.
PWill does not have a good track record in rematches after controversial wins.... So yeah, we SHOULD have a rematch.
didn't watch this fight last night.. i was tuned in to the rios vs antillon war. but yeah, sounds like another robbery in the states. the corruption in america and germany has gone way too far, something needs to be done about this ****.. nothing will happen though. they will keep on robbing fighters who deserve to win and continue to push boxing further into the gutter. the only way an american fighter can win these days is if he's got the bent and crooked judges to support him. they don't win fair over there. i'm pretty close to giving up on boxing. it's not a ****ing sport anymore. it's full of cheats. it seems that there's a robbery every week coming out of america.. it's ****ed up. they have been doing it for years and years, so they're not going to stop doing it now. boxing can't take much more of this.
