Oh well, it seems like Lara slept on Carlos Molina just like you guys. Molina is no Bum and outworked Lara, Lara got a favour from 2 of the judges scoring it a draw.

Jr middleweight Erislandy Lara (15-0-1, 10 KOs) and “King” Carlos Molina (17-5-1, 5 KOs) battled to a ten round draw on Friday night at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. In Molina’s first fight since June 2009, he seemingly outworked Lara to win 97-93 on one card, but the other two were 95-95 and 95-95.
    _____________

How is that a draw if 1 card went to Molina?? I don't get that.

    You gotta win by two

just kidding but you have to win on two cards like in a split decision Fighter A wins two cards fighter B wins one Fighter B does not win the fight

    majority rules

when there is no majority one card for A one for B and a draw its a draw

when all 3 say draw its a draw

when two draw one gives to B its a majority for the draw

Yep, and he certainly belonged in there last night. Good, solid fighter he is. Some people think that is you have more than a couple loses your a bum. Those same people dont know

about boxing and whats behind the wins and loses. They just see numbers and not quality of opposition.

    this guy was totally right

I saw the record and said bum

I tuned in in the 8th and saw Lara fighting a slow pace and lost of holding and assumed he was way up on points

then they showed Teddys card, the TV stayed on

I went on boxrec when this was declared a draw to realize that this guy has not lost in long time and has 4 or 5 good wins in a row

i know he didnt win but yet another great FNF upset performance by another determined underdog

I always root against the house fighter

    upsets

    Provodnikov
    Mora
    Dallas Jr
    Despaign

Hopefully Hank Lundy is next to lose

I dont think its BS you have to win two cards an undisputed victory

As for a rematch maybe but I think Lara would be more interested in watching the tapes and going on with his career

Of course hes not going to give Molina another fight, but props to Molina. Hope he lands bigger fights...he deserves it.

And I guess you're right about the card thing.

Though the Molina fight may prove he is not ready and if he advance he may get exposed worse

his management plays it off as a fluke says rematch not necessary and they move on

I mean 154 is wide open

Young champ Alvarez still kind of Green in a sense

K9 a tough guy but not the greatest boxer

Cotto is battle worn but he is dangerous and under a good watchful eye of Steward

Sergey D has the WBO still Id imagine but he may be discouraged or even retire after that beating
