Angulo-Maritosyan and Lara-Dzinziruk would be an excellent double-header. Hope this happens.

I'm a little surprised GBP is throwing Angulo into a fight like this considering how little ring action he's had of late. I thought he'd have another fight or two before stepping it up again.

Lara obviously deserves a title shot and Dzinziruk makes the most sense, what with HBO's contractual obligation to him.

He got saved in the USA vs Molina so it's not just a bad thing fighting in the USA.

    Exactly.

How does Lara go from a draw, then a loss to fighting for any title.

The draw was just but the lost was a highway robbery! Didn't you see it? Lara has gained much more reputation in everyone's eyes after seeing how he beat up Williams. ;)

There's no disputing he was robbed against Williams, but per the technical rules it's hard to justify a title shot with a draw and a loss and not having ever beaten a top 15 fighter. Lara looked good against Williams, but I think there's a lot of people who would've looked good against PWill at this point. I imagine Golden Boy is paying Bundrage/King(IBF) for his title.

The Molina fight was very close, the draw was the right decision. It was not like Molina was winning every round ( like Lara was doing against Williams ), so the most logical thing was to score it a draw. Stop the whining, you are always saying that Molina beat him and it's not true. Plus, I have said it a million times and will say it one more time for you, Lara hardly trained to fight Molina. His trainer Shields was in Ireland preparing Rigondeaux at that very same time, Lara trained only for about 1 week and he basically did it himself. But enough is enough, I don't want to keep on stating this fact to you who always come back with the same thing.

This is really strange, there are some Mexican fans who like the Cuban fighters, ( and are very friendly ) and others who don't, I am guessing that you are on the team that doesn't, right? Do you also dislike Gamboa and Rigondeaux? :huh

u must not watch boxing much these days... a guy gets a title shot more often after he loses rather than wins....
    brian magee
    andre berto
ronald hearns (was just cancelled i believe)
thats 3 i can think of recently off the top of my head...
and even though Lara "didnt win" he beat the holy **** out of paul williams and everyone saw it
