Boxer beats puncher, puncher beats swarmer, swarmer beats boxer. Lara is a pure boxer. He needs to fight at range. He has no inside fighting game, and can be taken out of his game when he's crowded. Most boxers will struggle with pressure fighters.

WTF are you talkin about? Im responding to his thread. He's basically saying Lara will fight anyone and his resume proves that. I say no it doesnt. He has to take those fights. Its just like people use to say that same ish about Margarito. Then when he got on top, he wanted nothing to do with a Paul Williams rematch.

Lara's a good fighter and has some nice wins-Williams, Trout, Angulo, Brewer, and I thought he deserved the win over Vanes.

I would have much prefered to see Mayweather take on Lara instead of Maidana.

He wants a big fight with Alvarez or Mayweather but those are going to be hard for him to land. He's going to have to keep knocking off tough guys until the chance pops up, if it does.

If he can't get a shot at one of those guys he could move up to 160 and face GBP guys like Quillen and Jacobs.

this just tells you how meaningless these title belts mean these days...Lara is a supposed champion and has to beg people to fight him...if belts meant anything, Canelo would go after him next since he doesnt have one

I don't think people are 'scared' of Lara I think it has more to do with Economics and that Lara has no fans brings no money to the table and is not going to sell any PPV's.

are you comparing Pacquiao to Angulo?

Pacquiao has dropped just about everyone who is similar in size to him like Marquez. Angulo is the guy who couldn't even hurt a shot Kermit Cintron.

Lara's willing to fight anybody but nobody wants to fight Lara. That's the truth.

He's so boring like Rigondeaux. No excitement no interesting to watch.
