Support has nothing to do with it. What that suggests is some should say 'yes', simply because they like him.

    Wright???

    What a joke. LMAO

Sam Soliman took 9 clean from him making him look foolish in his robbery W.

Lara would box circles around Wright.

As for Norris v Lara...good fight. Norris probably edge it but I wouldn't rule out Lara shattering that glass either.

McCallum would put Lara to sleep. Too much speed, power and coordination.
Like Vanes except faster and stronger and with a plan B/C/D etc....if he couldn't get the jab going, he'd swarm, if he was taking heavy punches he'd show brilliant D and counter punching and vs Toney he looked heavily outweighed and made Toney fight as if he were the smaller man. Good fights McCallum v Toney.

    As for the OP....

Lara has fought the best LMWs of 2 eras and only corruption(PWilly) and a hungry Vanes, Hurd and Alvarez have nicked it vs the Dream.

    Lock HOFER IMO

Thought he beat Williams but Canelo fight for me has always been iffy, neither guy really did much to say they DESERVED the decision but the way Lara fought in that fight - I mean at some point you have to start saying, this is just far too negative and borders on pretty much just running. Glad he took the L on that one.

Everyone can't be put into the HOF! If everyone is, then it will mean nothing!

No. If he wins a rematch against Hurd, then beats Charlo, goes up in weight to MW and defeats Charlo2, and then wins a rematch against Canelo... maybe.

If HOF is strictly about skill, you have a point. But I would like to point out that Gatti was a 2 weight divisions title holder and participants of 4 fight of the year.
I don't know how many fighter can have that type of achievement.

Support what? Look at the run he had post Alvarez.

Lara became the epitome of being a prizefighter. Money over glory.

Everyone knows that Gatti got in because of his epic wars and enormous fan base.

Every time there is talk about a fighters HOF credentials, Gatti gets brought up. Thurman, Spence, Khan, Porter, Garcia; they would all beat him. Yet none of them had that type of a career as he did, and none of them will get into the HOF(Not yet anyways.)
