People bring up the Angulo fight but Lara said he was told he wasnt allowed to come in over 164 I think then Angulo came in at 172

Punked his way outta the Vanes fight once it became clear he was getting worked.

Was dropped on his ass hard 2x by the slow caveman angulo..the same Angulo who got wrecked by a shot cintron.

I think Lara is good but I dont hold him in the same esteem some people do

Do I think he can be the best at 154....the answer is yes

Have I crowned him as the best at the weight....the answer is no

I really dont see where people think he is some kind of head and shoulders above all uncrowned king at 154? I mean I thought he lost vs Molina and the draw seemed fair vs Vanes though its a shame they only had a few seconds of a round that had to be scored

I dont think he is definitely going to beat Canelo like some preach though I will say I watched the Angulo fight again and was a lot more impressed and felt Angulo though aggressive and busy with his punches was out boxed and behind and that despite going down twice the first knockdown Lara wasnt that hurt but the 2nd time he was but recovered pretty quickly and by the end of the round was back in control

I dont think Andrade is that good and I think if Lara is every bit as good as people say he is then he will destroy Andrade

 

Lara was getting hit alot by Angulo and barley made it out alive just imagine whats gonna happen when a guy thats way better then Angulo faces him

Carlos Molina has a much better resume than GGG. His fight vs Lara was a legit draw, but I think Lara would win wide in a rematch.

And Lara was robbed vs Vanes. Nobody can make a case for Vanes winning that
