He has 3 losses all close fights. Against Jarret Hurd. Canelo. And Paul Williams . Out of those three who did the best against lara
I kinda agree because he managed to hit him clean and cut him, plus he workedthebody. Paul and Haymon robbed him, Oscar and Canelo robbed him, and Hurd caught him on a great day because Lara could no longer move his legs anymore.
Lara could still run, Lara hadn't lost a round in years !!! Clean slated Gausha easy work Lara would always be forced to stand and trade against Hurd. He had no other option. Hurd is long and has a long stride. He brings pressure and intensity for 12 rounds. You have to be even bigger than him with a big punch to neutralize him. A prime GGG with his massive frame would be Hurd's kryptonite. GGG is just so big and hits very hard
Hurd beat Lara convincingly Canelo could get the nod it was close but I had Lara winning PW lost at minimum 8 rounds Molina might have done a little better than Canelo. That was a draw imo.
Molina, but he was robbed. Out of the 3 noted, Williams got a gift, I had Canelo and Hurd both winning 7-5 iirc, but I thought Canelo's win was more impressive as Lara was at his best.
Canelo and Hurd, one point fight either way, but Canelo fought the younger/better Lara so he gets the vote for me.
