the 2nd was very close that's a decent score imo

 

Closer than many probably expected...combination of Lara possibly having lost a step and Vendetti fighting his guts out.

edit: not close in rounds, mind you, Lara should be well up, but the rounds themselves feature momentum swings and nip/tuck action.

 

I have it the same way which kind of bums me out. Mendoza is kind of a dick much. I rarely agree with him. in my defense, I have been drinking....a lot!

 

I've...never heard of the guy. Is he like the bootleg Harold Lederman for all the PBC shows?

(I don't watch as much boxing as I used to, and PBC doesn't exactly put out a consistently excellent product that I'm going to expend my energy to seek out and make time for)

 

Vendetti with the 6th for me and semi wide.

Right. Back to the UFC. Lara is stinking the joint out staying on first gear and coasting here. This is garbage.

 

Yep, that was noteworthy to me too, how Lara expected after reeling in a right jab and backing straight up that Vendetti would just respect him enough to not chase with anything. Those superman punch rights definitely caused his eyebrows to rise a bit, which is about the nearest to panic we are likely to see the Cuban ever get.

 

I live two towns away from Vendetti and have never heard of him.

 

I think this fight will get more wide until it's over but it was a fun first 7 rounds

 

He tends to score fight for the promoters dudes which makes sense since PBC is paying his salary. Too many times I see him scoring towards the prospects that PBC is pushing.
