one judge had the same score. I can see fights where you can hate on the mods scores, this time his card was fine really.

So both marquee fights ended up being a little surprising (but not incredibly).

Angulo was in fact (as most believed was possible, but many were probably in denial of) shot enough to lose to a late replacement gatekeeper as it turned out...while Vendetti managed to not get totally embarrassed and even bag a few rounds on the judges' and knowledgeable observers' cards, as it turned out.

i just don't understand the mentality of any fighter wanting to go on the floor, fighting is ultimately about being the last man standing for me it's what it's all about so I just don't understand going down through choice

I kinda wanna see Lara Castano again. That fight was good. Lara stood and fought.

I get it mate and it's effective it's just not my thing, it's skilful no doubt but i don't understand why if you back yourself to beat your opponent you would choose to do it by making his arm really uncomfortable, knock him out

I'm so happy Vendetti gave a solid account of himself. I had a bad feeling he was getting slept. Great guy, very hard worker, and does this for the love of the sport. What's not to love?

Yeah,,I had it 96-94 Hernandez and gave him the last 2 rounds to get it. This is a blessing as we won't have to watch Angulo get massacred against a world class fighter. His movements and speed reminded me of a 49 year old Duran without the head movement.

Castano stops him in a rematch. The real uncrowned king at 154. No one wants to fight him though for obvious reasons.

He acquitted himself well, and at the very least, will probably land as a B-side for another televised fight on PBC.
