Both he and Yan Barthelemy agreed to co-promotion deals with Golden Boy Promotions as reported by the AP and ESPN.
I have high hopes for Lara, but not so much for Barthelemy. Yan seems to have faded badly since his Olympic days and his style is better suited to the amateur system. In his last few fights (although he has dominated) he's shown some flaws and doesn't seem as effective as his counterparts in Gamboa/Solis. That being said I wish him the best and hope he proves me wrong. What do you think of him? Does he have much of a future?
