    it really should be lara-ggg instead of murray...nothing against murray, but i think lara is far more deserving.

    i've never been bored watching a lara fight. rght now he's one of my favs and i find his fights fascinating...but then again, i prefer the more technical guys like fmj and rigo too.

    To each his own .

    I personally feel Erislandy Lara is the number #1 154 pounder in the world .

    I thought he clearly beat Canelo with no question .

    I will admit His style can be quite annoying at times .

    I would prefer to watch James Kirkland over Lara fight anyday of the week .

    different strokes for different folks...i also like kirkland and think he's one of the most exciting fighters around...the thing is, i admire technique...i find a guy who can switch angles while combination punchinga and making their oppenent miss at the same time, is amazing...for that reason, i also find guys like kirkland to be kinds a sloppy and frustrating to watch.

    Lara is a very good fighter but just doesn't have that extra gear when he needs it. He was doing well against Canelo in the first half of the fight but for whatever reason fell off in the second half.

    true, he didn't dominate canelo like floyd did, but he clearly beat canelo...maybe he played it a little safe down the stretch. canelo is a top fighter and big for the division...i don't think there's a lotta guys who could beat canelo with the ease that floyd did it...i wouldn't use floyd's performance against canelo as a yardstick. anybody beats canelo, the idol, the so-called future of boxing, deserves major accolades...it's not like canelo is a bum.

    who is lara's manager? they should be jostling for a cotto or ggg fight or a canelo rematch...lots of good possibilities.

    maybe other latinos won't support lara, but americans will if he gets some more big time exposure.

    Lara ran, Canelo hammered Lara's body, Canelo won.

    Lara had his chance and he did'nt fight for it.
    Canelo moves on to bigger and better fights. :hat
