This is next according to Rick Glaser's X account. Not a bad match up Lara is the better boxer but is over 40 he did well to KO Zerafa and Garcia. Eubank will likely provide a tougher test but I can see Lara winning this if it is indeed next.
Great opponent for Eubank Jr and good timing to face Lara as well. Presumably this will be in the UK, as Eubank Jr is the bigger draw. Eubank Jr will be the favourite here to win a decision, and Lara will need to go after a stoppage to get the W.
Even with a 40 year old Lara, Eubank will be sucker for his straight left. It wouldn't surprise me if the old man sprung the upset.
Decent fight tbh. Never rated Eubank Jr highly and still don't. Lara is leaps and bounds ahead of him technically and punches hard enough to dent that cracked chin he's got. Even ancient Lara has enough left to beat Eubank.
Tough fight for Eubank, Lara is very technical and Eubank has struggled against technical fighters as we saw against BJS and Groves. I can see Lara doing enough to get the decision but the judges will give it to Eubank. I am curious to see what the odds are.
Not a major fan of either guys but it actually might be a decent fight for UK. The biggest positive of this fight is that depending on the date, it hopefully kills the stupid Canelo vs Eubank Jr idea for next May.
