So basically this is just the PBC creating a new bunch of fake WBA belts in a vain attempt to legitimise their otherwise worthless fights.

Lara is as frustrating as GRJ and Andrade with their unwillingness(or inability) to face real opponents.

 

They have all these fighter occupying the same divisions and so far they’ve announced
Ruiz vs Arreola
Lara vs Lamanna(Who?)
Harrison vs Perrella(Who?)

We’re talking about three Top 5 guys in their divisions and ex-champions facing guys that’s maybe top 40. Meanwhile prospects in Vergil Ortiz just fought ex champion Mo Hooker and Jarron Ennis is scheduled to face ex champion and #9 WW Sergey Lipinets. You can’t make this up.

And when did Gilberto Mendoza and Al Haymon forge a relationship to where every PBC fight has to be for a vacant regular or interim WBA belt.

 

Lamanna is not bad. He was unlucky against Mendoza, i had him ahead. Lara is getting old and his style needs speed. He is 37 now, could age over night from one fight to another. Maybe this is the right time for an upset.
