Erislandy Lara vs Floyd Mayweather Jr

Is this the same Lara that was lucky to draw Carlos Molina

I think Floyd would make him un comfortable and slowly wear him down

Lara would tire his out put would decrease and he would eat shots

 

Lara is one of my faves, but Floyd beats him. Floyd's conditioning and inside fighting is too much for Lara. I'm sure Leon already has came by and said it'd look like the Judah fight

It would be a really tough fight for Floyd at this stage in his career.

Shame Lara doesnt have the backing or the popularity for this fight to happen.

 

I said that I wouldn't touch this one, but I just have to comment. I think this is a difficult fight for both. Both guys have a great sense of spacing and angles. Floyd is a very good inside fighter and that's where the edge is. Lara has the ear muff style defense when on the inside but he uses it to figure his opponents number of punches they are willing to throw and an opening finder. I've seen Lara do this and quickly throw counters in between his opponents punches and get knockdowns out if it. These are 2 very smart boxers that are capable of beating any given opponent. I have to give the edge to Mayweather simply because of experience at such a high level. Although Lara is capable of shocking the world.

I say he is quitter because he quit against maidana, I haven't say $h1t about Ortiz-Lopez, and Molina didn't whoop anyones a$$ the fight was a $h1tty fight none deserve it to win, Molina made an ugly fight and Lara connected the best punches, but a draw was a fair dec. And everyone knows that Lara was back here in Miami and Shields was in Ireland, if you don't konw what was happening why are you commenting?

 

I think this is a very close fight.
