Golovkin would break Lara down and stop him. The jab and right hand tactic won't work here just like it didn't against Alvarez.

Lara started talking about it after Adama was announced as GGG's opponent.
GGG is fighting Murray now so typically Lara starts talking again.
Lara has 1 of 3 options to choose from if he wants to fight GGG at 160 on HBO:
1.Leave Haymon so he can fight on HBO
2.Become the WBA mandatory at MW and force purse bids
3.Get another MW belt and hope HBO lets him on to unify with GGG

Tom Loeffler basically said the same thing. If you actually followed what is going on, you'd know that already.
Lara won't do any of those things because he is just talking on twitter. Lara will fight K9 at 154.
You will still say dumb sh*t and look like an idiot.
"GGG call out Floyd but he be duckin Ward n Lara!" - you idiots

Would mind seeing this happen...but it won't. Agree with the posters who say Lara needs to do something at middleweight to be considered...then we know he is serious about taking on GGG.

I don't believe in Lara taking GGG fight. Much pain, no gain (i mean money). However, I would actually be excited to see this fight. Both are smart boxers, Lara with great Cuban technique and footwork and GGG with a great ability to cut angles and counterpunch. It would be an excellent experience for Golovkin's carrier because for now he only picks stylistically comfortable fighters for him.

But when it all comes down to it, the point is very simple:

"The other guys don't want to fight us, this guy is top-5 rated, he has a hispanic surname, and has won belts before and he does."

Canelo, Cotto, Chavez and Quillan DON'T WANT THE FIGHT so he can fight Lara, who has fought on American PPV, or keep fighting these English/Australian bums who come into the ring looking for a place to fall. What else needs to be said?

...And personally, by the way, as I said earlier I see GGG winning the fight. I can't see a one-armed runner type, no matter how talented, beating Golovkin over 12 rounds.

Macklin, Geale and Murray aren't bums.

    Quite an even fight.

Lara would be triple G's best victory to date. Triple G would be Lara's best victory to date.

The HBO/Showtime deal would create problems, but shouldn't be something that would hinder this bout. It's not of that magnitude.

Never once did I hear Golovkin's camp complaining about already having bouts lined up. They flat out are not interested in a Lara bout.

As a fan, instead of making excuses, you should be hoping your guy pushes for better competition. He'll be 33 this year! When exactly does he plan on challenging himself?

lara gets ko'd easy, but Golovkin wants middleweight belts or a froch, chavez jr ppv. otherwise he takes the best available and willing. i think we'll see Golovkin-Lee in May, in Ireland then Golovkin vs someone for the wbc belt in late august-early september. cotto would vacate before he'd face triple G.

See, there's how you want things to be and there's how things are.
Lara isn't going to just walk over to HBO and get a fight on their network.
It's not excuses it's the way it is, dipsh*t.
Then there's the weight difference. Lara is not moving up to 160. He has WBA champ Danny Jacobs right there for him, in-house. Lara would be 1 win away from forcing purse bids and getting this fight that you dummies claim he wants so badly.
Lara and Ward aren't fighting Golovkin. You dopes need to find new heroes.
Morons need to understand this and stop all the dumb sh*t:
