I don't think Chavez hits "a lot harder" than Williams. I see this one going to a decision either way.

I have no chip on my shoulder and yes I'm Cuban being watching boxing for over 45 years now, some of my favorites fighters are Mexicans, Barrera, Marquez brothers, Olivares, Zarate, Jose Luis Lopez, others Mexicans-Amreicans like Chacon, Coloradito Lopez, etc.. my all time favor Duran, Panama-Mexican, Hagler, Leonard, Michael Spinks, Foreman... As you can see being Cuban has nothing to do with my OPINION, and if you have 100 fights against cab drivers that can't brake an egg will give you a iron chinned reputation, well I don't know what to say, I like JR but like Canelo he is being so blatantly protected that make me root for the other guy, and ducking Martinez is not a trait of a warrior, I'll tell you this, you will never see Jr or Canelo against a good boxer... Man get used to see good boxing from Cubans, long before Sulaiman we had some good Champions, Kid Chocolate, Gavilan, Luis M. Rodriguez, Florentino, Paret, Ramos, Legra, etc.. and you guys were in the rear mirror

Lara by clear UD, but most likely another Rios-Abril disgrace courtesy of Uncle Bobo will happen. Molina beat both these guys.

Chavez has only fought cab drivers?

Compare his resume to other middleweights and you'll realize its a solid resume, quit hating.

Myself, I don't care for any of the Cuban fighters right now, but it was nothing to do with nationality. I have some favorites from a different country, and I also hate some current Mexican fighters, so I don't have opinions based on wearing Mexican goggles.

Congrats on a nice boxing history and those Olympic medals, but at the moment you guys are in the rear view mirror, and Cuban posters easily show it with their extreme bias.

It's nothing personal obviously, I have lots of love for Latino fighters, its just that I find them very boring. More or less, I'm just indifferent towards them.

Gamboa, I was excited to see him against bam bam, but that fight sank. His disappearance has annoyed me.

Abril is worthless garbage, and Rigo hasn't had enough pro fights, but I can grow to like him.

    Lara is ok but meh.

I know it's not a racist thing, more of a style thing. I love their style, but I guess I could see why you think they'e boring since all of them take long breaks in their fights were they just go on cruise control.

I'm a fan of slick fighters and Cubans are some of my favorite

I gravitate more towards the other end. Fighters like Whitaker, meldrick, may, Hamed just don't do it for me. Don't care for slickness.

I'm a fan of the banger, brawler, or boxer puncher at the very least.

I respect Mayweather, Marquez though, and can watch a fight of theirs, but their style isn't my favorite.

Lara would be moving up....if it were in Texas, Arum would make sure his up and coming cash cow don't lose it; hell anywhere...Lara by KO..he would not win a decision because Arum, as a corrupt promoter who is sickening the sport, would make sure he doesn't win a decision.

I respect that you just like a street fight more than a sweet science kind of thing, no problem with that, but if you call Abril garbage after what he did to one of your favorites fighters I think that's biased, and if Abril is garbage then what do we make of Rios? Remember most Cubans fighters don't fight often because nobody wants to fight them, it so hard for those kids to land a fight much less a meaningful one, Rios was lucky that Gamboa has his problems with Oner...

Rios grew on me after the Abril fight, but I wouldn't necessarily call myself a fan, but he's got the style no doubt.

I back up my claim that Abril is garbage because I don't score holding/hugging and arm grabbing.

He did zero damage to bam bam.

Don't take the garbage comment so hard, I also think molina, a Mexican is garbage because he does the same thing.
