I think Lara will be too relaxed and allow himself to be outworked

On the contrary, I see a very hyped up and ready Lara being very aggressive and outworking the very poor defense minded Williams or possibly stopping him! ;)

I voted Lara decision, but im not feeling it in my gut. If lara dosent put on his big boy pants on, he's gonna get outworked and possibly stopped.

I read on a different forum from Lara's wife that Sergio Martinez gave Lara some tips.

regardless of tips, Lara has to execute his plan masterfully in front an aggressive Williams eager to come back. Lara, wishful thinking, has to come back aggressive and sharp, ready to shock William's anatomy. Lara's training camp must be perfect and over doing it or hurting himself are not options. Solis, Haye are example of injuries not expressed before the fight and only after the loss is that justification arises. Go Lara, Go....you need to win for Cuban people...Go brother!

lara is very hungry. it took him two attempts to defect from cuba.

pwilliams is now mentioning the word retirement.

depending on what version of williams shows up, lara could be a live dog.

Lara will outbox him. His skill and southpaw style will be too much for Paul to figure out

Well one has been world champ 2 times already. If he stays away from middleweights he can easily be champ again.

    I go Williams late TKO

Good post. By watching Williams I have come to the conclusion that he is way overrated. The guy completely disregards his defense, walks into punches and goes crazy throwing punches. Lara is more skilled, more fundamentally sounded, has way better defense and is way better at counterpunching.

Lara will definitely come in to prove that his off night against Molina was that he didn't train properly and will be willing to make a statement. On the other hand, Williams ( as cocky as he is ), will greatly underestimate Lara ( as he said in a recent interview ), and will get stopped by Lara's straight and wicked left hand. You heard it here first! :good

I agree, Williams has a lot of flaws and Lara is a great skilled boxer puncher. Plus, Williams has trouble with skilled lefties. ;)

I agree. This will be the start of Lara's fast rise to the top. Just watch people jump on his bandwagon when he TKO's Williams. ;)
