Lara the amature beat willams in so many catigores clean effective punching ring generalship against a crazy tall fighter. the most Williams had against this amateur fighter was most punches thrown. lara is not even that hard of a puncher and had willams stunned early. this was robbery clearly. unless boxing is judged on surviving a massive ass whooping that makes every cringe then willams won it hands down.

 

And Lara was fighting a LHW by the time the first punch was thrown, I think been so heavy is what make him finish the fight.

 

You're talking about the cut over the eye? Williams was also bleeding constantly from the nose and mouth during the last few rounds, that wasn't from the headbutts.

Williams took a beating. If Lara was a heavier puncher and PW didn't have such a good chin, this fight would have never gone to the scorecards. Lara clearly landed the harder blows, hell, he even landed MORE blows than PW while throwing half the punches PW threw.

Oh, and if judges get 'impressed' by aggressiveness and volume alone, then they are incompetent. A fighter gets the nod for effective aggressiveness, PW only managed to do that for two or three rounds the entire fight.

I think Williams have to rematch Lara, it is the only way to save some face.
