Erislandy Lara: "Yo Queiro Sergio Martinez!"

Accept it Sergio. I hope it's at a fair weight though. Lara is too brave for his own good and would try to go up to 160

 

I would love to see Martinez-Lara that's the fight he should be looking to make.

 

Lara is soo "G" it is too much, it is like he is "too G."

 

Sergio only fights big names or B level euros.

 

I think Sergio should go down to 154 lbs anyway, most of the fighters that he wants to fight are at that weight. That is if he can make the weight without draining to much.

But if you were Lara I could see why you might want to take a risk and go up in weight to fight for the Ring title instead of a non title fight at 154 lbs.

 

Good fight! I have Martinez winning but Lara has some qualities that would make it interesting. Good match up.... let's hope Sergio continues to fight who's available and not get stuck trying to tie down Floyd or PAC.

 

I honestly think this would be an insanely interesting and competitive fight.

true, Sergio needs to go down to 154 permanently and Lara would do it, but I don't like the idea. Lara said he'd also go down to 147 and fight Ortiz/Berto so he can't be that big

 

Fair weight.. dude its 154, 160 or 147.... if Lara wants the MW title.. he better pony up and go to 160.. if its at 154 then so be it.. but Lara better not ask for a catchweight...
