Ernie Roderick how do you see him, he'll often be found at about 3rd best British Welterweight behind Kid Lewis & Kid Berg, he beat Berg at the end of Berg's career, but personally I think he beats him prime for prime anyhow. Ted Kid Lewis would be a harder fight for him no doubt. Could Roderick have one won the world title, a first class boxer, an amazing record and 1 of only 4 fighters to go the distance with Armstrong during Armstrong 3 title reign. Roderick shows some excellent boxing in that 3 minute clip, but of course Armstrong just never stopped pressing did he. Roderick making No Excuses was literally just coming off a flu and said I'll get him on the return. I always thought a Roderick v Zivic showdown was in order and again I say Roderick had a chance at beating any of them, he was truely that good. Could he have won the world title, does he belong at No.2 H2H behind Ted Kid Lewis for British welterweights?
