Although a single shot from Earnie could end it at anytime, I'm going to favor Jones and favor him heavily. Jones much faster and too scientific. A knockout win for Jones is highly unlikely but not impossible. Earnie had the tendency to gas from time to time.
An interesting fact here is that Vincente Rondon, who spent most of his career at or below light heavyweight, went the distance with Shavers, albeit in losing fashion. If Shavers lands that overhand right then it's all over, but i think a careful Jones could cruise to a decision win.
Jones could out-box Shavers fairly convincingly winning a UD by 4 points or more. I don't think he KO's Shavers but definitely punishes him with his speed and reflexes. On the flipside, it could be lights-out for Jones any time in the fight if Shavers catches him with his right hand. The key for Shavers is his stamina and whether he exudes the same punching power from round 1 to round 12.
