Ernie Terrell, 1965 vs Frank Bruno, 15 rounds for the WBA Title. A change in history for us die hard boxing historians. Terrell meets Bruno instead of Eddie Machen in Chicago. Terrell is a very tall rangy heavyweight. Who wins and why?

Terrell by decision or late stoppage. Bruno was more powerful, but Terrell was the better boxer overall.

with a vicious jab and good outside movement, if he boxed outside ,terrell might make the distance and wins by UD. That's if Bruno doesn't get him early, and i would favor him to do so. Im sure Frankie would do as well as Cleveland williams did.

This is certainly Frank Bruno time.

I hope not, too many. David Tua has more.

    Terrell wins by late stoppage.
    Bruno isn't a 15 round fighter.
He didn't make the 10 rounds with Smith, went out in 11 against Witherspoon in his only scheduled 15 rounder, he barely survived the 12th against McCall years later.

I agree with Unforgiven. Terrell would jab and grab his way for much of the fight, but Bruno would wither and even Terrell could have knocked him out in the late rounds.

I'm not so sure tbh. Williams was faster, and had superior stamina to Bruno which would tell later in the fight.
