What a crap fight this would be Ingo prancing backward behind his soft range finding jab, waiting to counter with his Bingo , Ernie the Octopus going forwards crablike, probing with his telephone pole left, tying the Swede up in close Toss up fight with a very slight edge to Ingo.
I don't think this is too good of a fight either. When Terrell was younger, I would say Ingo might be able to catch him with a right hand and win the fight. If Terrell keeps Ingo outside, he wins the fight easily. Terrell was much taller, and Ingo didn't have good stamina past 5. Terrell by a boring 15 round decision. If Terrell tried to mix more (highly unlikely), it could be a good fight, with Ingo having a lot of success. I still favor Terrell in that case, as he was tough and durable. Ingo was not.
If this fight went 15 I don't think there would actually be a decision, as the judges would not be able to stay awake. I can't imagine a more boring match up. I am not certain where the idea comes from that Johansson is short of stamina, as he scored two knockouts in the 13th round. While I would probably be snoozing after a few rounds, my guess is that Terrell would likely win a decision, but who knows if Johansson catches him, which might not be that unlikely. The issue would be whether Ingo could at times slip the jab and come in with the right.
The ref might not even make it to declare a PTS.
I can't imagine a more boring match up.
I can: Terrell vs. Johnny Nelson
I am not certain where the idea comes from that Johansson is short of stamina, as he scored two knockouts in the 13th round.
I forgot about those, my mistake. I still don't find those in the norm for Johansson. I'm going off of how quickly Johnasson tired in the 2nd & 3rd Patterson fights. I would never analyze any of Johansson's fights after the Patterson trilogy; he was no longer prime, although he looked good vs. Bygraves and Richardson. I should say instead that Johansson had unimpressive stamina. Plus there's the fact that he never went 15, whereas Terrell did 15 times. But I don't think Terrell had good stamina for a 15-rounder either.
