Sanders replaces Albert's original dance partner, the injured Carlos Quintana. How was there never any mention of this fight on ESB? :blood It's not going to be an epic, nor is it terribly important, but it's two relatively well known guys in a Friday night crossroads affair. I'd expect at least one thread. Or even an update in one of the Quintana-Albert threads that there was a sub. :nono The loser here pretty much keeps gates for a living from here on out. The winner has a ghost of a chance at worming into a title picture...maaaybe. Should be a halfway decent scrap in any event. Was really looking forward to Quintana scalping Albert and getting back into the mix, but it is what it is. Maybe he'll still wind up taking the winner of this (not that it's any sweeter a prize than the original fight with EA would have been in the first place).
Albert let me down when he folded against Kirkland. Without going to boxrec, I can't remember the last time Sanders won a fight. Showtime is where it's at tonight.
