my loyalty is to the truth, regardless of any personal discomfort it may create. not saying im always truthful, but lying forces me to confront the fact that im not as big a man as i pretend to be. some people can live knowing that they aint ****, as long as others think they are, im not one of them. trump has a lifelong history of doing exactly what hes doing as potus, its who he is. for those that dont want to do the research to find the truth because it may confront them with revelations they arent ready to face, thats fine, its much easier to blame the media. i did not support hillary, by the way. you are right, i dont want to hijack the thread with political views, so i will stop.
I have my doubts about Spence getting past Brook but I hope he does cause he would bring a lot to 147-160 divs.
i dont remember the site i downloaded it from. i remember the pic from when i was a kid because alexis was, and still is, my all time favorite fighter, so a few weeks ago i went searching for it when i decided to change my avatar. i googled his name, clicked on images and scrolled through till i found it.
Seems unfair but this is what will happen..... If Brook wins, "Spence was exposed. told you all he was all hype" Spence wins, "He's the real deal, next superstar".
I think both fighters acquitted themselves well tonight. Brook is a tough SOB and has power, maybe more innate power than Spence. But I can guarantee you one thing, Spence would not have quit with the hurt eye, double vision and all. You would have had to carry Spence out of the ring before he quit against Brook. He was set on bringing the belt back to Desoto. Having said that, all props to Brook. Brook is strong and at times seemed to stun Spence. I didn't expect that. But then again, anyone who can withstand Porter's onslaught and come out on top, you know is a tough customer. I don't think this devalued Brook's stock. The only asterisk, though, would be you have to wonder how bad Brook' eye is. It may be a recurring problem. Spence is an impressive fighter. I like the guy a lot. He believes in himself, deep down inside and he has a good team behind him as evidenced by the fact that they came over two weeks prior to the fight to properly acclimate Spence. Brook has no reason to hang his head. Spence should be proud of his effort because he was stunned briefly a couple times. Good fight. Unfortunate ending.
That would be Beterbiev Oh wait, he's not American Hideous how so many of you only get behind the next America's latest hero while ATGs like Loma and Beterbiev are just left out in the cold
You're not included in that group mate Beterbelieve it, Artur will be avoided his entire career, yet he's every bit the potential to go down as one of the best 175 of all time
I will confess I was less impressed with Spence in the win than I was with Brook in the loss. Brook showed me a lot. I think Spence was nervous because he wanted this so badly. I think he let his emotions alter his style. He left himself vulnerable at times in the fight and he was lucky he didn't get clipped by Brook. But I truly believe Spence learned a lot from this fight and will only get stronger going forward.
