We saw him in Olympics, Talented young man!. Anyways watching interviews on youtube over the past few days and noticed the stuff about him supposedly sparking Broner in sparring. I'm starting to believe it because people aren't denying it. Even Barry Hunter admitted that Broner's people pulled him out of ring then Broner said no get back in. Now there's rumors that Spence was the man to bruise Mayweather's eye and was chucked out of camp and as he packed his bags Mayweather calmed down and came over and asked him to stay. I like the look of this kid, I like the fact he's not messing with anyone of these stars in sparring. Bright future for Errol Spence, Remember the name :deal.
Looked good in the Olympics, be interesting to see how far he goes. He'll never make a living as a sparring partner though!
I'm a fan of spence looked to be more than ready for the pros at the Olympics. On sparring stories I try not to look into then too much after anyone who gave manny hell was instantly the next big thing. There was plenty of them too.
I dunno man sometimes people will be over aggressive in sparring and its pointless, if he landed that shot on Mayweather whilst boxing thats ok but if he was brawling there's no point because in a real ring it wouldnt work
Hunter,Broner and even Spence have all denied the Broner sparring. There is no proof he gave the back eye to Mayweather aswell.
Nah he's a nice kid, seems to be very humble and appreciative of where he is and the training and sparring he's getting.I don't believe the rumours of him knocking out Broner but I'd say he gave him a bit of pasting,it shouldn't be a surprise to people because he's a big strong jr middleweight. The Mayweather black eye is what it is too don't know why people are so surprised with that either its not a ****ing tickling contest.
Saw Spence fight fred Evans at the WBC convention a couple of years back, he beat Evans badly giving him 2 standing counts with body shots....... As soon as the odds came out I stuck 20 bucks on Spence to win the olympics at about 14/1. Kin robbed I was
I don't think he looked all that in the Olympics but was the best of US team (not saying much) Making waves in the gym it seems but let's see how it pans out for him.
Was clearly the best fighter there for me, was much stronger than all the guys in his division was just fecked over by the spastic refs and scoring - like so many gifted pros before him.
