Nay, he lost to the Russian in the quarters, I remember towards the end of the fight - Spence landing a 2 punch combination to the body then a right uppercut through the card that snapped the Ruskies had back and it didnt even score a single point, then the Russian threw a nothing jab that clipped Errols headguard and hey presto 1-0 to the Russain from that little exchange...Pathetic.
I don't get it, Hunter and Broner flat out denied this in that Ellie Seckback video filming the beef between Malignaggi and Broner. When it settled down Ellie asked Broner about Errol Spence, Barry Hunter came over at this time and also said people be lying. Broner said the same. I also started a thread weeks ago about Mayweather's right eye, and got laughed at for starting the thread. Fighters get hit and marked up all the time, true, but rarely do you see Mayweather knocked up whilst in camp. There is more to this. It is obviously from a left or a right cross in sparring. Which indicates they are trying to mimmick Guerrero's southpaw style in the gym. Floyd has never been tip top against southpaws as such. I believe Guerrero will have success in this fight. The Ghost is being overlooked. If you don't look hard enough with a quite mind, you won't see a ghost. Mayweather is bound to have confrontation in the corner with both his uncle and dad said to be there. I believe this is a recipe for disaster and Floyd will do what he wants to anyway. I believe this fight for the taking, it just depends which Robert Guerrero comes to fight. If he takes the blue pill, he'll fall short and I can see a KO. If he takes the red pill, and sticks to the gameplan all fight. I'm giving him a chance to win this fight. I would be inclined to believe the Broner "rumour".....because Broner is wide open and makes plenty of mistakes. He is no Floyd Mayweather. Talented, a rip off, I'll give him that. But he aint no Floyd Mayweather. Zero footwork. ZERO. He will take plenty of shots in his career IMO.
Thing is Mayweather chucked him out of camp then brought him back so i think it's more then just a black eye. Mayweather has in the past been worked over in sparring by Spadafora (long layoff) when him and his camp talked a whole lot of ish and Spaddy and his team went at it like a fight. Lamont Peterson supposedly got to him and laid a bit of a beating on him. It's all hear say althought Spaddy did beat Mayweather up towards end it's on youtube. As i say more then just a black eye, Sam Watson didn't deny it he said something like ''oh i heard about it and yeah Floyd probably did kick him out of camp''.
Saw this the other day, Calixboxing made a video on YT about it. Apparently he didn't spark Broner, but he knocked him down heavily.
Mand's right. A lot of the neutral's who witnessed it and have nothing to do with either camp are confirming it.
I'm more surprised Floyd is marked up than Broner getting put on his ass if truth be told. My gut tells me, Mayweather won't finish undefeated, unless he gets out soon. Time waits for no man, age is guaranteed to everyone. Not even the great Mayweather will escape it. Some young up and comer will do something he aint supposed to do, and take Mayweather all the way like never before. I'm hoping Robert Guerrero does it, a nicer man there isn't. But it all depends on how Guerrero comes in on Saturday night. If he rushes in for a toe-to-toe fight like he claims, he will lose. Floyd wants exactly that, and I feel they got Guerrero exactly where they want him just like the other 43. The battle may already be won. Again. However, Guerrero may be playing mind games himself, if thats the case, and he comes in to box for 12 rounds, being unpredictable, switching and sticking to a gameplan. I fancy Guerrero man. I have to say it. If he comes in for toe-to-toe as sloppily as against Berto, I can see Mayweather finishing the job. I don't think Broner was ever the case where he would go undefeated unless they protected him from very dangerous opponents. Which eventually they wont be able to avoid. I have noticed to many holes in his game. Yes he is more of a predator than Floyd, digs harder, and looks to finish fights. But that maybe a cover up for the rest of his game, if he can finish every fight until the end, they will try. I think deep down they know Broner will improve, but he is very beatable also. What do you lot think?
Why would he walk into a door? Some fat ****s are there purely and solely in the gym to jump in between and take the blow. "You're so great Floyd" In "all access" one of the fat ****s who pretends to be a punching bag for Floyd, says he has pissed blood, but it don't matter because he has got plenty of 0's on his paycheck.
I reckon we'll see more of Floyd in the future, like in the 2nd round against Mosley. I actually think Guerrero is exactly the sort of fighter to land those punches from range. Those weird awkward outside to inside punches, the straight left. Look what he did to Berto in the early rounds, before choosing to fight an inside fight. He stunned Berto with that perfect straight left as Berto was backing up. If Guerrero can keep it long and unpredictable, and not stay in the pocket all night fighting Floyds fight. Then The Ghost has got a chance if he is prepared to switch and adjust every time Floyd does. Whats your view on the fight Skills?
He looked very promising at the Olympics, looks to have genuine power as well so he could be an entertaining fighter to follow.
Something clearly happened between Spence and Broner, Hunter says in one video it was a good shot and he was there then in another video he says they never sparred!
