To remove cataracts. This guy shouldn't have even been sanctioned to fight Crawford and should not be allowed to continue boxing. When he goes blind for a couple of mill he'll regret it
I fear this may be true. Eye issues have ended many a career. I hope he's good but when he posted that on his story............smh
How did he develop cataracts? Haymon & Co Pulling a switch a roo on Manny Pacquiao even when they knew before hand that Errol wasn't liable to fight that night in turn forcing Pacquiao into over training & not letting him postpone the Ugas fight when Freddie Roach asked Haymon was a down low dirty move just like years prior when they Haymon willingly paid fighters to turn down sparring with Pacquiao for the Floyd fight how pathetic in deed. What made it worse was Errol hoping onto his safe space twitter & hyping up Ugas win which was even more distasteful, all those shenanigans have a way of catching up to you one way or another, they all need to keep that in mind. We know the heavy tricks they pulled on Crawford for years end which didn't end well for them either when Bud finally vanquished him leaving Errol looking at the camera dumbfounded & dazed, quite a sight but not so much for the knowing as we knew before hand just what Terence would end up doing to him if given the chance hence their avoidance of such fight in the first place.
Very odd that he's gotten cataracts at such a young age, that isn't very common in people his age. He's blaming his loss to Crawford on the cataracts, so quite frankly I'm sceptical of this story. Just sounds like an angle to sell the rematch to give Spence fans some hope he can win the fight. https://www.boxingnews24.com/2024/0...pion Errol, against Terence Crawford last July.
Spence telling truth here. Crawford did not fight prime Spence, he fought the weight drained inactive version. It's quite obvious when you see that Spence performed worse against Crawford than any other of Crawford's 147lb opposition
I've never seen a sport where so many people try to degrade their favorite boxers opposition by saying their guy had issues as for why he lost the fight (i.e. his costume was too heavy and weakened his legs on the way to the ring, got cataracts, weight drain, other side cheated with dust in their gloves, he was too tired from partying all night and that threw off his senses, he was on the shitter all morning so his legs were weak). Perhaps the guy just got beat by someone better than him?
Cataracts are a possible side effect of long-term anabolic steroid use. It's very unusual to occur at his age naturally.
