Me calling him a warrior has nothing to do with his drinking and driving. You know that. Some of you guys are funny with your witch hunting.
Well, you are trying to downplay the incident based on the ire of the others it seems. Drinking and driving is no joke. Especially when you can afford a f*ckin limo to take you anywhere you want.
Spence has confused being incredibly lucky with indestructability. He fails to realize that if the forces involved were altered just a bit he could of ended up a paraplegic or worse.
You literally said: “The guy is a warrior. As a fan, I'm glad he's talking big.” This implies that you approve of him bragging about not breaking any bones in his DUI wreck. In the context that it was used, the “warrior” comment could certainly be taken by someone as applying to the DUI and wreck itself, especially as it goes along with Spence’s own assertion of being a savage. Spence wasn’t boasting of being a savage in the ring; he’s talking about it in the context of this wreck and his lack of more serious injuries.
What did you read that suggested that I'm trying to downplay drinking and driving? I know fully well that it is serious. But you all are acting like its impossible for him to change and it can't be a teachable moment. Everybody's on here squeaky clean however. The hypocrisy is hysterical.
What a clown. I'm glad he's ok but should be showing some humility in the wake of all of this. Just happy personally that noone else was injured as a result of this.
Jesus christs ... go back and re-read what i originally posted. This post has nothing to do with me at all....
Hopefully he gets jail time, if they allow another wealthy person to get off then it shows once again that they are untouched by laws.
I've never liked Spence but respected him Not now Drinking and driving is a potential life changer for so many parties
I'm not defending them. But I'm not singling him out either. Everyday some drunk fool will take a life from this earth. But I do wonder from time to time...if Johnny Tapia was living in the age of internet. Aaron Pryor, so many boxers would look like evil people if they were in the age of instant media and instant condemnation.
