Yes he is. I favoured Crawford before (but not by a heavy margin), but now I favour Spence (also not by a heavy margin). I have it 55/45 for Spence. Spence is just a dangerous for Crawford as he is for Spence. Don't get why he's seen as a huge favourite.
The Ugas fight was just brutal, the way Spence just took him apart. Ugas is a really good, solid defensive fighter and the beating he took was ... wow. I dont envy Bud getting in the ring with that - how do you keep Spence off you? This is why this fight is truly special, its a 50-50 between two greats.
Interesting, it's mostly just the more dedicated fans who view Crawford as the favorite. In actual betting markets, I'm seeing him consistently around -125 and Spence +115. Very slim odds.
I’m picking Crawford, mainly because every time I watch him fight I just feel he has another gear to go to if needed, he hasn’t needed to yet but he probably will here. He has plans a,b,c… available plus more in his pocket. im hoping we get a great fight as sometimes when you get 2 great fighters together it can be really boring like manny vs floyd. Also as mentioned before im very interested to see what spence looks like at the weigh in
I used to be high on Spence but since he point boxed Mickey Garcia to a safe win (instead of blasting him out) I’m not so sure anymore. I think Crawford is tougher and leaning towards him now because he seems to want the fight more. Good fight either way, looking forward to it.
I can't stand how salty the guy gets when people don't think he's p4p no. 1, an Accolade which has always been a matter of opinion and ultimately meaningless anyway, I know fighters have to have that confidence and the "I'm the best ever" mindset, but Crawford is a guy that will knockout a nobody and demand props from the fans, and gets insulted if somebody thinks Canelo or Usyk has a stronger claim to p4p king than him
I have to go with my home boy Spence but I can see Crawford winning as well. Spence can, I believe, out muscle Bud on the inside, push him around a bit. Just don't get him mad.
I'm always rooting g for Crawford. He comes across as a guy who could school and outbox most fighters to an easy decision with his ring IQ but chooses to trade because he knows he has a backup plan when things go south. His mean streak might get him in trouble against Spence, but I'll take that over a safety first fight any day.
I had Spence winning a close fight but that was before the car crash and the the detached retina and the Ugas fight. Now I just don't know.
