So is he going to flee to 154 and continue to duck Crawford?

    I always find it funny.

When a boxer someone likes is struggling to make weight, they're "drained"

When a boxer someone doesnt like is struggling to make weight they're a "weight bully"

Is it weight bullying if he's killing himself? When is it draining and when is it weight bullying?

Josh Taylor and Lee McGregor both rehydrate around 20 pounds.

Canelo would rehydrate from 154lbs to around 175lbs and even now at higher weights still rehydrates plenty.

Jamie McDonnell against Inoue weighted in at the limit of 118lbs and the next day in the ring was 144lbs. Such is the ability and power of Inoue, he still KO'd his much larger opponent.

Chavez Jr. when he was at 160 would rehydrate up to 180lbs plus.

I don't understand why the term "weight bully" is only reserved for some fighters? And by that I mean not all the fighters who are rehydrating as much as I have stated above are being called out on it.

Errol Spence fit into the "weight bully" category FYI.

There is no such thing as a weight bully.

People would apparently be shocked by how much these dudes walk around and enter camp at. And not knowing the average weight they put on between weigh in and fight. Especially those at the top level.

Drained and bullying, seem to be the same thing.

Hes killing himself before the fight, on fight night he's fine and he rehydrates 20lbs probably.

Then why is he fighting at 147 and not 160?
Surely it would be 10 times more comfortable making 160 without having to get every ounce of water out of your system.

Oh wait... if he went to fight at 160 he'd fight men his own size and most likely lose or get knocked out by guys like GGG, Jacobs and Canelo few years ago... so please tell me how this is not weight bullying, he's literally preferring to suffer horribly making the 147 limit rather than going to his natural weight class of 160lbs and competing against men his own size.

If he had an easy time making 147 then it'd be fine but he just admitted that's he "killing" himself to make the weight. He probably walks around at 175-180

He's weakening himself and still beating top competition. Sounds like a compliment.

It always has worked this way. You fight in the lowest class you can while making weight effectively. Most fighters end up making weight okay and then struggling as they age, so they gradually drift north. That's not bullying, that's following the customs of boxing or other sports where weight is an issue, for that matter.

Was Manny Pacquiao a weight bully? I don't think so, but he overestimated his ability to cut and ended up losing a title on the scales. He moved up two weight classes as a result. That's just how it goes.

Would anyone support confirmatory fight night weigh-ins ? So the 147 champion actually weighed 147? What would this do to the boxing landscape (other than heavyweight obviously)?

135lb Joey Gamache was permanently brain damaged with a rehydrated 160lb Gatti.
