As many may know Kell Brook will soon decide if he's going to vacate the IBF Welterweight Belt and move up to 154 soon, and Errol Spence Jr. being the #1 contender for the belt, along with Jeff Horn at #2, will be hungry for the belt regardless of Brook staying or not.

In my personal opinion, Spence will soon be getting that glorious belt whether or not he has to beat Brook or Horn for it, but will he get the glorious reputation many believe he deserves at this early stage of his career?

Should he get the shot at fighting the winner of Thurman v. Garcia if he gets the IBF belt or will he be ruled out as 'not ready' like he has been by Garcia, Thurman, and even Bob Arum?

The thing for Brook is, if he decides to take the Spence defence and beats him. People will say oh Spence was just an overhyped nobody. It's a high-risk low-reward fight for Brook who now has the pick of big fights at 147 and 154.

I personally would like to see the fight, I'm hoping Brook fights Spence and then fights the winner of Garcia/Thurman before moving up for Canelo. Maybe fit a Khan fight in there somewhere too.

I'm also hoping for Brook staying at 147 and fighting Spence then win Thurman/Garcia, and I say that because Brook doesn't have much business at 154 if you really look at the top dogs in the division. I don't see Brook shining in that division, therefore he should stay a top dog at 147. Although I personally believe Spence Jr. would beat Brook for the IBF, I believe Brook would still be at the top of 147 once Bradley and Pacquiao retire even surpassing Garcia and Thurman.

If Brook stays at 147 it would be great to see him fight Spence and if he wins the Vargas-Pacman winner. All to set up a unification with the Thurman-Garcia winner. It would be a string of awesome fights and hopefully they showcase some talent on the undercard or even get fighters who lost to face off against fighters like Porter, Broner, Peterson, Khan, Bradley, and maybe some new blood like Benavidez, Sadam Ali, Omar Figueroa, and Ponomarev. It would really clarify where the division stands on whose champ, whose staying, whose coming for the title, and who needs to retire.

When is Brook expected to fight again? IS he all healed up from his soul selling fight vs. GEE yet? Don't expect much from him from this point out at 147lbs... 160lbs is too much & 154lbs he gets devoured by the wolves.

    http://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/...bout-2017-wbo-world-welterweight-vargas-fight

He mentions here he wants garcia thurman or pacquiao and has spence on the horizon and says he will probably stay at welterweight. He is going to try get the pacquaio fight next april, the ibf will allow a unification bout ahead of a mandatory aslong as the winner agrees to face spence.
